Women Science Teachers
WST ambassador Melita Brodar ( Ivan Kukuljevic Sakcinski Primary School (Ivanec, CROTIA))presented the good practice example titled “Teacher collaboration and STEM activities in classroom teaching” at the International Conference of Primary School Teachers, Education Experts and Scientists held in Vodice, Croatia between April 30 and May 3.

The " GenderEquality in Science Education" conference organized by ARSTEAMapp Project(Partner project of SDC23 ), Women Science Teachers and Korkmaz Yigit Anatolian High School was held 27 March 2023. IşılHasdemir, General Manager of Dell Technologies -Turkey, Dr. Fatma Caner(Marmara University) and YaseminAltınsoy, founder of Kidory Digital Story writing platform, gave information about STEM activities, technological developments in Turkey and the world, opportunities in technology professions for high school students and became excellent role models for our female students. We would like to express our gratitude to our guests for their support.

The COVID-19 pandemic put gender inequality in the global spotlight. Women and girls have suffered disproportionately across key indicators, setting back decades of work and investment towards gender equality. How did we lead for change ?

PERFORM CONFERENCE
WST visited Saniye Güler Corat (Director for Gender Equality -UNESCO) at UNESCO. She was the pioneer in making gender equality a global priority at UNESCO in 2007. She is a senior executive in international development with over 25 years of field experience in over 30 countries.
WST also participated in Perform Conference with our projects.

Science Conference
​WST presented their project "My mom is a scientist" in Science Conference- Hatay. In this event, WST showed the participants that science is actually everywhere and that everyone can easily access science. WST encouraged the society to be directed towards science.
